Get A Membership, Get A Vote
Getting your membership is easy:
Ask us for help.
Cost: $10 for a one-time membership.
Validity: It's valid for the calendar year you purchase it. If you bought your membership in September 2023 or later, it’s good for all of 2024.
Recurring Option: Prefer a hassle-free approach? Opt for a pre-authorized monthly recurring donation to keep your membership active year after year.
Renewal: Once you get a membership, any donation over $10 in the following years counts as your membership renewal.
If you’re at least 14, live in Alberta, and aren’t a member of another political party, you’re in!
It's a ranked preferential ballot system. You'll rank the candidates in order of preference. If no one gets more than 50 per cent in the first round, the candidate with the least number of votes will be eliminated and their second-place votes will be redistributed until some crosses the 50 per cent mark.
Key Dates to Remember:
Feb 5, 2024: Campaign kick-off
Apr 22, 2024: Last day to become a member and vote
Jun 3, 2024: Ballots mailed out
Jun 22, 2024: Voting closes, and we announce the winner
You'll get your ballot by mail by June 3, 2024. It’ll include all you need for mail-in, online, and telephone voting options.
